More About Barton Leadership Program
TheBartonLeadership Program offers emerging leaders in the community a course curriculum that focuses on the aspects of leadership development and board governance. The curriculum is delivered in two-hour sessions on four different evenings
Using a combination of both industry experts and community leaders, theBartonLeadership Program creates an interactive classroom setting that allows participants to learn, question and debate real life scenarios related to leading and governing in the non-profit sector.
In the middle of the lecture series, each candidate will be required to attend a live board meeting with one of our partnering non-profit agencies. This allows for candidates to see some of the lessons taught in action, as well as bring those experiences back to the classroom.
To close out the program, Forum 35 coordinates a meet-and-greet between theBartonFellows and leaders of the Baton Rouge Area non-profit community. At this session, you will be provided an opportunity to sit down with non-profit organizations looking for new leaders and board members.
