John W. Barton, Sr. Leadership Development Program Announces Class of 2014

BATON ROUGE, LA – Forum 35’s John W. Barton, Sr. Leadership Development Program has selected its 2014 class. The group of 31 young professionals will be trained in nonprofit governance throughout the duration of the program, which will conclude with a matching session designed to facilitate introductions between 2014 program graduates and area nonprofit organizations interested in identifying candidates to serve on their Boards of Directors.

The John W. Barton, Sr. Leadership Development Program is a core pillar under Forum 35’s leadership initiative and enables members to develop leadership skills while promoting community involvement and volunteerism in Baton Rouge. In 2014, Forum 35 elected to partner with LSU Executive Education to administer the Program.
