Experience the Ultimate Wine Tasting at Forum 35’s Uncorked

Forum 35’s Uncorked wine event returns again on March 27, 2014 benefiting Forum 35 and Triumph Kitchen.

Baton Rouge, LA – Forum 35’s Uncorked is bringing back its seasonal wine tasting competition! The next Uncorked event is being held in downtown Baton Rouge on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Triumph Kitchen from 6-9 p.m. The featured wine will be Pinot Grigio.

Attendees will form teams of 1, 2 or 3 people and bring 3 matching bottles of Pinot Grigio. Two of the bottles will be bagged and numbered for a blind wine tasting and one will be put into the winner’s prize lot which will be awarded to the top three winning teams based on the scores of participating attendees. Each attendee receives a score card and voting ballot upon arrival.  From 6-9 p.m., attendees will enjoy light appetizers, entertainment by Minos the Saint and learn about the non-profits involved. A minimum donation of $25 will be collected from each attendee and will be split between Forum 35 and the chosen Baton Rouge charity partner. This event will be benefiting Forum 35 and Triumph Kitchen. Grab your team, bring your bottles and wind down with us! Space is limited; pre-registration is encouraged.  This event is sponsored by Capital City Grill, Stroubes Seafood & Steaks, and Tiger Deaux-Nuts.

About Triumph Kitchen

Triumph Kitchen is a Non-profit education venue serving as a training facility for at risk youth in learning culinary, hospitality and life-skills to build successful futures. With daily, hands-on training in all aspects of the hospitality industry and afternoon classroom time based on job readiness, Triumph students are able to get a customized education tailored to their individual learning needs. Upon completion of the 12-week program, students will receive job placement assistance and mentoring through the interview process while career goal planning.
