In light of so many local and national headlines around communities, policing, and safety, Forum 35’s Cultural Diversity Committee and Baton Rouge Area Violence Elimination (BRAVE) will host a discussion focusing on the provisions that organizations and city officials are taking to tackle violence in our community, including bridging barriers between certain neighborhoods and those protecting and serving.

Join District Attorney Hillar Moore, Chief of Police Carl Dabadie, BRAVE Director Herbert "Tweety" Anny, and Director of FYSC Roxon Welch to ask the questions you've been wondering...

There will be a short panel presentation followed by small break out groups where you can get the chance to ask all of the questions you have to the people who know the issues and strategies to tackle them best. Panelists will include those listed above and a local preacher, representatives from LSU Department of Research and Development, the Sheriff’s department, and the District Attorney’s office.

This event is free and open to the public. Enter through the front gates of the FYSC on Government.

PLEASE ALSO JOIN US ON MARCH 31 @ 6PM AT BREW HA-HA FOR A FOLLOW-UP “COFFEE CHAT” TO DIG DEEPER INTO WHAT WE SAY AND HERE AT THIS EVENT.
